Hilo Termite & Pest Control was started in Hilo, HI, on August 19, 1963, by Robert S. Ono, also known as Shizuo Ono. Robert Ono passed his business on to his son Rodney Ono, who attended the University of Manoa and received his degree in Entomology (the study of insects). Most recently, Rodney’s son Steven Ono joined the family business. We are a third-generation, locally-owned, and family-operated company.
